Reachy Dino Duel — Non-Commercial Licence
Copyright (c) 2026 Dwain Barnes

I built this for my own family and I'm happy for yours to have it. It is not
open source, and it isn't free for businesses or organisations. Plain English
follows; there's no small print hiding anywhere.

## What you can do

- Download it, keep it, and use it at home.
- Print the deck. Print it again when a child stands on it. Print a spare set
  for the grandparents' house.
- Play it with your own family and friends.
- Read the code, change it, break it, fix it, and build your own decks with the
deck builder — for your own personal, non-commercial use.
- Tell people about it and link to the project wherever you like.

## What you can't do without asking me first

- Sell it, or sell printed decks, or charge anyone for access to it.
- Put it in a product, a service, an event or a subscription that people pay
for — including as a freebie that helps sell something else.
- Use it in or on behalf of an organisation of any kind. That means schools,
nurseries, childminders, clubs, scout and guide groups, museums, libraries,
science centres, makerspaces, conferences, trade stands, paid workshops,
holiday clubs, robotics companies and businesses generally — whether or not
money changes hands and whether or not you're charging for the activity
  itself.

If you're a school, a nursery, a club, a museum, a business or an event, please
get in touch first. I'm easy to reach — dwainashleybarnes@gmail.com, or the
Space's discussion tab. I'm not trying to be difficult and I'm not expecting to
be paid; I'd mostly just like to know where it's ended up, and to be able to
say yes.

## Third-party material keeps its own licence

Nothing above applies to other people's work, which travels under its own terms
and is redistributable on those terms whatever I say here:

- **Card illustrations** from Wikimedia Commons, mostly **CC BY** (2.5, 3.0 and
4.0) with a few CC0 and public-domain files. Attribution is required. Every
credit line is on the last page of the printed PDF, in the README, and in full
in `assets/illustrations/manifest.json`. Keep the credits page with the deck.
- **Silhouettes** from PhyloPic, filtered to **CC0 1.0 / Public Domain Mark**
  only. Details in `assets/silhouettes/manifest.json`.
- **Fonts**: Zilla Slab and Barlow Semi Condensed, both under the **SIL Open
Font Licence 1.1**. The licence texts are committed next to the font files.
- **Pollen Robotics' emotions library, dances library and Reachy Mini SDK**,
  each under their own licences.
- **Dinosaur names and statistics** are facts and nobody owns them.

"Reachy" and "Reachy Mini" are Pollen Robotics' names, not mine. This is an
independent community project and Pollen Robotics haven't endorsed it.

## Modifications and forks

Change whatever you like. Anything you build on top of this comes with these
same terms attached, and please keep this file with it so the next person knows
where they stand.

## No warranty

This is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind, and you use it at your own
risk. I'm not liable if it doesn't work, if it stops working, or if it costs you
money on somebody else's API. It involves scissors, a printer and a robot with
moving parts — supervise your children with all three.

Any question about what counts as commercial or organisational: just ask.
